Our Mission

The Newman Center’s mission is to support one another in growing and embracing the Catholic faith through hospitality, prayer, educational opportunities, and leadership within our community. The St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Newman Center cultivates the Catholic faith through the teaching of the Catechism of the Catholic Church based on namely 1)what we believe, 2) our worship, 3) moral life, and 4) prayer.

Our faith-based student center provides opportunities for spiritual growth, leadership development, and community service. It all boils down to living out Acts 2:42 “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”
